This Post-Ban Compliant
AMD-65 was assembled using
our Receiver Assembly Bolt
Kit (and possibly one of our
AMD-65 kits).  The bolts
were used to attach the
trunnions and trigger guard.

Notice the extended muzzle
brake, permanently attached to
reach the 16" standard for rifle
classification.

Also see that there is no button
for the side folding stock, so it
cannot fold.  Hopefully when
the Assault Weapon Ban
expires in September 2004
everyone will be able to make
their AK stocks fold again!

The receiver is an Ohio
Ordanance receiver that was
purchased thru an FFL dealer.
It still needs to be painted to
match the kit.

Nicely done!

Thanks for the pictures!

builder used one of our 80%
As you can see he used the
assembly bolts to assemble it,
including the lower bolt rails.
He liked the receiver kit so
much he bought another one!

Thanks for sharing the pictures!

This customer bought his Ohio
Ordanance 100% receivers and
assembly bolt kits from us, and 2
days later was sending pictures
of finished guns!  The first of our
"NO BAN" gun build pics!

That's fast work and a job well
done.  The AMD-65 looks great.
I'm not sure what type of kit the
full stocked AK started out as,
but looks like an FAL type pistol
grip, probably a romanian front
pistol grip, and maybe an
AMD-65 or krink brake on the
ftont.  I sure hope the bayonet
lug on that thing doesn't hurt
anyone!

Thanks for the pics!
This customer made himself
quite the custom AMD-65.  It
has an Aimpoint M68 sight,
Surefire M900 tactical light, and
he made the folding stock
himself.  Plus the cool looking
camo job!
